    2 years at various camps and recreational leagues

    Personal Fact:
    Prayed to be tall since I was 2 because I wanted to play in the NBA. Parents only 5'5" and 5'10". Now standing at 6'5" and still growing

    Why I love to coach:
    I love to share the talents God has blessed me with and use them to help other young athletes to grow in their abilities and gifts that God has given them, whatever they may be.

    Kevin Sweet

    Experience:
    I played basketball in high school and college. I earned first team all-league honors my senior year of high school and set school record for 3pt shots made. After high school, I played two years at Chapman University. I am currently the assistant varsity coach for the boys basketball team at El Dorado High School. This coming year will be my 19th year.

    Personal Fact:
    I am a physical education teacher at Yorba Linda Middle School.

    Why I love to coach:
    I enjoy building meaningful relationships with people and helping them build skills and traits that will lead them to success both on and off the court.

    Personal Fact:
    Dion Bailey grew up in West Covina where he enjoyed playing basketball at a young age. In high school he continued to enjoy basketball and developed a passion for it. After high school he proceeded to play basketball in junior college and finished his athletic career at Utah State as a Guard. Dion comes from an extensive coaching and business background, working with professional to amateur athletes on all levels.

    Why I love to coach:
    Coach Dion’s philosophy is to instill purpose, passion, and growth within each team and individual that he works with. He believes that your calling is something you are attracted to, something that you are passionate about, fills you with joy, and sets your heart on fire when you are doing it.

    2016-2017 High school Varsity Boys Assistant Coach. New Roads School Present: Assistant Varsity Girls Coach at Friends Christian Middle School

    Personal Fact:
    I work at Friends Christian Middle School. I also am from the Los Angeles area and love to watch college basketball.

    Why I love to coach:
    I love the opportunity to pass down information that I have learned and give that to younger players. So hopefully they can become even better and it hopefully helps their game.

    Heidi Peralta

    Sport: Basketball

    Favorite Verse:

    Experience:
    I have been coaching basketball for elementary kids for the last three years and have coached softball both recreational and/or all stars for the past five years. While in college I also coached the Whittier Christian Junior High JV team for a year.

    Personal Fact:
    I am a wife, homeschooling mom to four children, and physical therapist. I played basketball from the time I was in 2nd grade through high school.

    Why I love to coach:
    My biggest joy in coaching is watching the players accomplish something for the first time. My goal in coaching is to improve teams both individually and together. If you see me out on the court, I hope you see someone truly invested in the players both as athletes and as children of God.
